Since 2011, Cycleco has been developing the USEtox project in collaboration with actors of the shampoo, cosmetics and detergents sectors and announces Launch of Phase III.
In the aftermath of the Grenelle Environment Forum and the implementation of environmental labeling for consumer products, assessing the environmental impacts of consumer goods, generated over the whole of their life cycles, has become a necessity. Cycleco was mandated to work on the application of the USEtox model, of which Dr. Jerome Payet is one of the creators, to develop ecotoxicological characterization factors for some of the substances found in the shampoo, cosmetics and detergents sectors.
